Biotight Petroleum is a South African youth owned and managed company with major focus in oil and gas.
The leadership of the company is committed, responsive and reliable and will be proud to have you as our
customer. Whatever environment your operations are, we are flexible to do our best to service you at the top of

Established in 2012 as an independent BBBEE LEVEL 1 petroleum distributor, Biotight want to supply you on
time with the specific quality products and competitive prices so that we can take full advantage of the trade
opportunities within SADC and COMESA regions.

Biotight Fuel sources, supplies and distributes regulated bulk petroleum and liquid fuel products to the

C. Fueling is our game

At Biotight, world-class quality fueling is our top priority. We are committed to deliver the highest quality
petroleum products that comply with the international safety and quality standards at an excellent service. Our
petroleum products are sourced from oil majors i.e. SASOL, Total, PetroSA, Masana Oil (BP) and Shell. Mostly
we source from SASOL. Having several suppliers ensures security of supply for our products, hence making us
a reliable supplier in the market.

We are very passionate about servicing you. We do understand that most of our clients operate in remote areas
that require special attention; we are ready to respond to such needs. Our satisfaction comes from seeing you
having secure, reliable and quality fuel to carry on with your business activities.

Executive Profiles
Ms. Portia Phohu: Managing Director
A founder and visionary leader with lots of stamina and focus to drive
the company forward. She has established a strong profile in the
petroleum industry, both upstream and downstream through working
close with world-class distinguished and established leaders in their
positions. Besides her strong technical and business background, she
has developed powerful relationships through assignments, research
and networking in oil and gas since 2012. She has witnessed an
exceptional self- growth and is willing to learn more to acquire new
business, coordinate, run and generate profits for Biotight.

At this point, she is intensively exploring the petroleum distribution market, building relationships with
financers, suppliers, wholesalers, transporters and potential clients with the aim to leverage on strategies
to influence Biotights’ exponential growth.

Portia is currently under business incubation at Awethu Projects, a business school for entrepreneurs by
entrepreneurs and also a member of and Junior Chamber International (JCI) South Africa (Non- Profit
Organizations of young active citizens with the drive and tenacity to bring the change they want to see in
the world).

Mr Bamuza Sono: Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Bamuza is a member of Biotight Exucutive Team and has a wealth
of experience in oil trading and dealings. He is a retired footballer
with a great passion for business. He has been in football industry
for more than 20 years as one of the shining soccer stars playing
for Jomo Cosmos, Austria and the national team, Bafana Bafana.
His involvement in professional football makes him a great team
player with good leadership, solid multitasking and decision making
skills that can make an immediate contribution. He simply thrives in
challenging fast paced environments.

He is one of the founding members of Kulisani Corporation, a Sports Corporation that aim to challenge the
status quo in all things in sports. He is also a Manager for Jomo Cosmos football club.

During his involvement in soccer, he managed to network across all industries of business, from football,
mining, farming, import/export and oil and gas.
He is very well travelled locally and internationally and this has helped him to establish long and meaningful
relationships that help Biotight to service you from any angle of the world. He is very good at negotiations,
deal making, marketing and sales. In his capacity as the COO, he oversees the activities of several Biotight
operations and partner companies together with being responsible for Biotight underlying land, property
and logistics investments.
