Do your grades in high school reflect your academic ability or potential? Explain.
Without a doubt, my grades are a great reflection of my academic abilities and potential because I personally believe it shows my growth through
my high school career. As well as that, my grades are something I take a lot of pride in, that's why I believe even though they may not be perfect
grades I still am able to take pride in my growth.
Are there any particular circumstances, school experiences, or persons that influenced your preparation or motivation to
attend college/military (e.g., cultural/financial background, family, and teachers)? Explain.
Indeed I have had preparations to attend college, examples of this are my siblings and my experience of college through them. I've also
participated in college classes that have allowed me to get college experiences first hand. This preparation has allowed me to be more motivated in
college and the opportunities that it'll grant me.
Describe any obstacles you have faced in school/life and how you overcame them:
One personal obstacle that I faced in school was financial issues during the covid-19 pandemic, my technology was outdated and although this
was a tricky situation I tried to find ways to aid this situation. I applied for an internship and got in, from this I was offered a stipend that allowed
me the opportunity to upgrade my technology. Overall, this issue was something that affected many aspects such as participation in class, etc but I
was able to overcome this obstacle and gain new learning experiences on the way.
