Role of code of ethics

information regarding company structure in detail. In short in supports the company
in days to day decision making.

Code of ethics is the guide of principle that helps the organization in encourage
decision making and increase the work

Benefits of adopting a code of ethics is that it promotes social change by promoting
positive social change, companies can contribute to making the world a better place
for everyone not just a select new

Importance of role of ethics


The reason for understanding how to behave properly in certain situations is that
code of ethics is important. Regardless of the difference between right or wrong, good
or bad, and right or injustice, a good code of ethics can keep people in the highest
standards of behaviour or activity with the importance of an ethical code of conduct.

1> Its importance within the organization -It provides a framework and a
standard for ethical decision making within the organization. In addition to its
importance within the organization, the code of ethics may inform customers,
vendors, and other external stakeholders what is valued by the organization, its
management, and employees.

2> It prevents wrong behaviour -Morality prevents the unfair treatment of a


good code since false culture is common in all cultures and societies, a good code of
ethics does not allow any discrimination. It is an important code of ethics.

3> It keeps us socially responsible


People in a society are responsible for the good quality policies around people
around them and things around them.
Ethics makes a good code responsible for the people in society and things around
them. It is one of the importance of the code of ethics.

4> It carries a high standard


Ethics will bring superiority to everyone around a good code.
Morality will bring superiority to everyone around a good code and allow the culture
to work as well as full with the importance of code of conduct in an organization.

Medical doctor
Care- I have a duty of care to everyone I encounter in my day-to-day life, including
patients, peers and family members. When possible, I plan to dedicate my time and
energy to ensuring other people are safe and happy because it's important that
people stay accountable to each other.

Honesty- I maintain integrity in all situations, particularly when informing patients


about their health care status. I prefer peers and colleagues to know I am a reliable
person who always says exactly what I mean. It's important to speak honestly so
people can learn to trust each other.

Responsibility- Its responsibility of doctors to render high-quality medical


services to every patient. When a patient is in urgent need of medical assistance,
this shall be provided as soon as possible. Its doctors responsibility to give
information about patients health condition and treatment and normally to access
to the information in the patient's case sheet.

Fairness- I strive to treat every person I encounter equally and reflect upon
situations before judging others. I plan to apply the same code of ethics to all
patients and colleagues. Doctors should be fair to every patients in term of fee,
medical treatment and medicines etc.

Protection -A doctor shall protect human health. A doctor shall cure, alleviate and
console. A doctor shall help the ill to regain their health and the healthy to preserve
theirs. A doctor must not help a patient to commit suicide.

Justice: I'm dedicated to finding justice for all individuals who need it because I prefer to
make the world a better place. I strive to maintain this mindset in my daily life so I can
effectively address any situations I encounter. To enact justice

Confidentiality - A lawyer should preserve the confidences of a client. This means that
the lawyer can never use a client’s confidence or secret to his personal advantage or for
personal gain. Lawyer should always maintain the privacy of my clients, colleagues and
peers. It's important to me that others trust my capacity to keep their sensitive information
a secret so we can better address their situation. 

Reliability: I strive to maintain optimal standards every day in my personal and


professional life so other people can rely on me for assistance. At work, I ensure I'm aware
of all case materials and stay updated on new laws, regulations and stipulations.

Responsibility –
 A lawyer may not assert a position, file a suit, delay trial, or take actions on behalf of a
client, particularly when such actions are undertaken merely to harass or maliciously
injure another individual.
 A lawyer cannot knowingly use perjured testimony or false evidence.
 A lawyer cannot knowingly assert false statements of law or fact.
 A lawyer cannot preserve or create evidence which the lawyer knows is false.
 A lawyer cannot assist his client in conduct the lawyer knows to be illegal or fraudulent.

Code of ethics of H&M


1) When vendors use or employ child labourers. Then H&M will permanently reject co-
operation with certain vendors.
2) When vendors use false documentation. It is this kind of conduct that has led to H&M
permanently rejecting co-operation with certain vendors.
3) When the suppliers have manufacturing at factories that are not authorised by H&M. It is
obviously vital to H&M that they are in control of where production takes place. H&M has
permanently rejected co-operation with nine suppliers because they were manufacturing in
unauthorised factories,20 practised child labour or repeatedly used false documentation.
4) H&M implemented this commitment through their Code of Ethics, which has been in
place since 2003. The Code of Ethics states a zero tolerance policy on corruption and
demands compliance with all relevant laws and our own business principles. It states,
among other things, that business partners should not provide any kind of gifts or favours to
H&M Group employees. In the same way, H&M Group employees must not ask for or
accept any personal advantage from a business partner.
5) A supplier /business partner of H&M must never disclose confidential information to any person
outside or within the Company, except to persons to whom disclosure is necessary for the purpose
of the contract with H&M, or with a prior permission from the Company.
