Attention – 1C, 2A, 2B, 3C and those that reached out to me from 1D and 3D

Firstly I would hope that you all are doing well in spite of our existing outbreak.

A few points to note so I will not be repeating myself.

 On the student share you received your challenge, blank portfolio and the
marking scheme. ( Note that all of you are very much familiar with
Technology Education in the class environment)
 I am using mainly WhatsApp communication however at the Form 2 level I
have introduced the Google classroom
 I know that students may be limited in terms of resources, connectivity
and/or other personal challenges. Please note that you will not be
penalised based on such, however I would need to be informed.
 As in class we work step by step, this applies here as well. I have not asked
to print any document. I will state what I expect and the due dates. You
will submit your assignments and I will grade and return. Please do not
message me asking if I marked your assignment. You will know when I
return the marked script.
 Late submissions will not be marked.
 There will be no regrading of assignments.- DON’T ASK
 I would be making a few changes to the classes I am responsible for.
Such will be communicated to you all as we move forward.

All Form levels are set up ( 1C, 2A, 2B, 3C)

Guidelines for the challenge:

 This project is not collaborative (no Group Work) ; as what you are
accustomed to in class. It is an individual effort.
 I will guide you in terms of assignments, due dates and times etc

  The challenge for the form 1’s and form 2’s follows the routine
portfolio template that you all have used before. However the form 3
challenge would require some modifications to the portfolio. As
stated I am there to guide you
 Please do not attempt to frustrate yourselves or your
parents/guardians by attempting to do the entire portfolio in one
day/week etc. WORK WITH ME. WE FOLLOW ON STEP BY STEP
I will only mark work that was assigned ( see the assignment
schedule)
 I am not asking anyone to pressure their parents/guardians into
purchasing / acquiring any new resources. Work with what is
available
 Keep all your work in one document, folder, note book, portfolio etc
 You can choose to present your assignments through the following:
1. WhatsApp message ( private)- Material can be typed /written
and then forwarded
2. Emailed – again typed or written
3. Using the Google classroom platform – applicable to form 2A
and 2B only ( Google docs or otherwise)
4. Due dates MUST BE be adhered to.

I know there may be issues as this platform for Technology Education is new.
However let us give it our best.
