What is num-AI-sh?
num-AI-sh is an exhibition event under the National Solution Convention – NaSCon ’22, the
flagship event of FAST Islamabad. It is an innovation exposition and will also give a platform to
the students to show their projects, and research work to the mentors invited from the various
sub domains of Artificial Intelligence The best projects will be awarded with cash prizes and will
receive one-on-one Mentorship with Industry and academia professionals. The participants will
Artificial intelligence is believed to be an inevitable part of our lives in the near future. The main goal
and purpose of num-Al-sh are built upon this very belief. With Pakistan reckoned as a nation not
ready for the future, num-Al-sh will help people believe quite the contrary.
num-Al-sh aims to provide the students with a platform and opportunity to not only represent
themselves but also the nation in the long run. This platform will help people understand how vital
and necessary Al is for us and how its usability is not bound just to an industrial level. With the right
guidance and mentorship, we can achieve so much for our next generations through Al.
Flow of the Event
Round One
Participants are required to submit their projects online in round one. The submission portal
will be open between 1st and 15th May 2022. Participants are required to submit within these
dates. The submissions will be evaluated by the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
Academia at FAST NUCES Islamabad, and the short-listed participants will be informed about
their selection. The selected teams will be notified via email and will be invited to attend
Round Two
Round two will take place on campus on 21st May ‘22 from 9 am to 3 pm, shortlisted
present their projects at the AI Exhibition. The project presented by each team will be
evaluated by the mentors of the event. After thorough evaluation of the projects, the
mentors will decide the top three position holders who will be awarded cash prizes and a

General Rules
● Make sure the project you submit is your original work. Plagiarism may lead to disqualification.
● Use the following naming convention for your application document: TeamName_num-AI-
sh_Application.pdf
● Any research or data analysis participants have conducted must be attached separately in the Google
● Participants are required to bring their own laptops/PCs, management will not be provided with laptops
or PCs.
● Your submission must be under the domain specified in the additional instructions.
● In the case you qualify for the next round, you must be present at the venue on the day of the event.
● Decisions of the competition judges shall be considered final and cannot be challenged.
● The organizers reserve the right to modify the above-mentioned rules and regulations without prior
notice.
