3D PRINTING AND BIOPRINTING
Medical Technology related with computing

THE TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION COMES TO MEDICINE

What is bioprinting?

Bioprinting is a technique for manufacturing three-dimensional structures

based on digital 3D models by incorporating biotin made from biological
materials, living cells and biochemicals.

Technique adapted to the patient

The main objective is to restore the

function of a tissue or an organ.
BIOPRINTING

It is now possible to print cartilage and skin to heal

people with diseases or the symptoms of aging.
In the future, it could even be possible to print
whole organs.
BIOPRINTING

This technique has other functions

Such as treating cancers. In this sense, you can create a

three-dimensional structure that simulates a tumor and
apply different chemotherapy treatments to get an idea
of how to treat the patient.
3D printing of organs and prostheses

objective: to improve the quality of life and help health

professionals.

How? Through tests such as an MRI, the organ or

part of the body to be operated or treated can be
printed to facilitate the surgeon's work.

At the same time, these biomodels are very useful

for medical students.
