essential part of our body and to see this beautiful world one needs to have an effective vision. We are
fortunate enough to be of some help for children by providing them free eye check-ups which is a modest
step towards the betterment of their lives.

Mr. Tom Jose, Business Head, Sreedhareeyam, added

 Children with uncorrected vision conditions or eye health problems face many barriers in life,
academically, socially and athletically.
 High-quality eye care can break down these barriers and help enable your children to reach their
highest potential.
 The longer a vision problem goes undiagnosed and untreated, the more a child's brain learns to
accommodate the vision problem. That is why a comprehensive eye examination is so important for
children.
 Early detection and treatment provide the very best opportunity to correct vision problems so your
child can learn to see clearly. Our focus is on ensuring kids see their best.

The increasing and continuous use of electronic devices such as computers, laptops, mobile phones, etc.
Has shown adverse effect on children’s eyes and has led to various eye problems. These eye- problems
later act as a barrier in their life. The camp aims to detect and provide the correct treatment for many vision
problems, some of them includes Myopia, Amblyopia, astigmatism, Squint Nystagmus through Ayurvedic
treatment. At Sreedhareeyam, we blend scientific and technological advancements in modern medicine
with the traditional knowledge of Ayurveda, to create a line of treatments that have proven to be highly
effective and beneficial to thousands of patients. It is our privilege to bring those benefits to the people of
Bhopal and MP.

Dr Megha Gangil added “

 Over 13% of school going children in India have turned myopic, adding that number has doubled in
the last decade due to excess usage of electronic gadgets.
 Only 6%-15% of children with myopia come from families in which neither parent is myopic. In
families with one myopic parent, 23%-40% of the children develop myopia. If both parents are
myopic, the rate rises to 33%-60%.
