No generation owns the earth or has the right to deplete the earth of its
resources. The use of water, trees, and minerals should be such that they are
available to the coming generations too. Therefore, we should understand the
concept of sustainable development, i.e. development which meets the needs
of the present and at the same time preserves the environment for future
generations. It is essential that we preserve the four principal biological

the planet and act with responsibility. This is what the Green Movement is all

Andrew Manson was a dedicated doctor who believed in saving the life of his
patients. He went beyond the normal expectations from a doctor to save the
wife and the baby of Joe Morgan. He used unconventional methods to save
the baby’s life by immersing him alternatively in hot and cold water. He did
not give up till he had saved both the mother and the child. He was aware how
precious the child was to the Morgans who had been childless for twenty
years.
