PROBLEM STATEMENT : USER FRIENDLY APPLICATION-BASED TRACKING SYSTEM FOR PUBLIC SAFETY WHILE TRAVELING IN TOURIST VEHICLES.

SOLUTION/PROTOTYPE
Nowadays there has been an increase in the crime rates like rape cases, kidnapping and harassments while
travelling publicly. I have come up with an idea which could help in decreasing the crime rate:
• Every type of public transport should be bound with a unique QR code on a dashboard of vehicle and on every seat in
private bus with information of vehicle owner, number, and other details while tourist vehicle verification. The
registration details are as follows:
• People have to once login with their Aadhar id through an app so as to decrease fake ids where the registration is to
be done once.
• Whenever people travel through a public/private vehicle he/she has to scan the QR code while entering the vehicle
that will send the registered information along with the current location and QR code details automatically to a server
in the Bureau which will be stored for around 4-6 weeks so as to assure that the data is safe.
• In the end the user just has to check out in the app to update the location of their last destination. Where GPS is only
used for seconds to collect last or first location which will not even drain the battery.
• Implementation- if someone is missing then it would be easy to find using Aadhar id from where he/she started the
tour and ended.
• This would lead the case a step ahead to find as the driver/criminal will be alert and afraid as he/she is been tracked
all the time. Hopefully this concept contributes to the society and will help people feel safer while their travel.
