Features of PTCL’s TIER 3+ DATA CENTER

Temperature
Equipment room temperature threshold is 22˚C, being maintained in both Tier-III and Tier-IV area.
Total 4 qty A/C systems (4 x 50 KW, 16 Ton capacity) for Tier-IV area with (3 + 1) redundancy
Total 6 qty A/C systems (6 x 87 KW, 28 Ton capacity) for Tier-III area with (5 + 1) redundancy
Refrigerant Gas type; R 407 C

Humidity Control
Equipment room Humidity threshold is 50%, and also it is maintained in both Tier-III and Tier-IV area.

Dust Proofing Control

Floors, walls, and ceiling are sealed, painted, or constructed of a material in a manner to minimize dust.
All entry points to datacenter are buffered and air curtain installed.

Security (manned/surveillance/alarms)
24x7 monitoring for Data center security.
Fixed outdoor cameras
CCTV system indoor PTZ cameras, including software + hard disk for 90 days backup.
Speed dome controlled cameras with functions of pan / tilt / zoom.

Power Supply
Switch gear (HT, LT, AMF & PFI panel in (1+1) configuration with having mobile Genset termination
facility having 1500 KVA capacity.
Power Transformer: Two commercial power Supplies are available.

Power Generators:
– 2 x 1500 KVA, 415 volts, in parallel standby Diesel Generators set (SDMO) Mitsubishi, with
canopy enclosure system.

– 21 nos earth pits.

Voltage stability

Two commercial power Supplies are available.

Primary: Modern Graphics Substation (It has no load shedding and also voltages are stable)
Secondary: CTO Substation

Fire Detection and Suppression systems

– Automatic fire alarm system, including NAFS 125 automatic fire suppression system.
– Complete with extinguishing control panel, smoke detectors, sensors, fire- inter locks for A/C
system etc.

Uninterrupted Power Supply

1. Total 5 x 200 KVA with individual battery banks.

2. 3 x 200 KVA in parallel (2+1 Redundant) with 30-minutes battery backup for Tier-III data center
equipment room.
3. 2 x 200 KVA in parallel (1+1 Redundant) with 30-minutes battery backup for Tier-IV data center
equipment room.
4. 5 x 240 battery bank, each bank 240 batteries.
5. Each battery 2V, 410 AH & Dry type.
6. Power supplied through UPS insures continuity when characteristics of local power supply are
not accord with specifications.

Elevation from the floor

Elevation is 6' feet from the floor.

Fuel storage
Total capacity of storage tank is 2000 gallons, enough for continuous 40 hours running with full load on
generator.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. The power charges are quoted for Single Phase power, however if three phase power is required additional
charges for the provisioning will be charged.
2. Prices are valid for 30 days from the date of submission of the price quote.
3. Prices are valid for this quote only.
4. HUBCO PAKISTAN will not disclose this proposal.
5. Minimum agreement period will be at least one year.
6. PTCL reserves the right to withdraw this quotation at any time before the placement of confirmed order.
7. Mode of payment by bank draft/paycheck on submitting invoice.
8. Standard force majeure clauses & PTCL Data Center policies apply to terms and conditions.
9. PTCL can provide the access to the authorized person of HUBCO as per its own rules and regulations
10. Power Charges will be changed on pro-rata basis if over 5% increase in power tariff by the respective electric
service provider.
11. Power changes will be billed on rated power of the installed machines/servers
12. Financials are inclusive of applicable taxes. However if any additional tax / Duty is imposed by the Govt. that
would be transferred to client without any liability of PTCL.
13.Omissions and errors are regretted. PTCL reserves the right to modify it later.
