 Time Based Maintenance
o Work with the team to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to ensure optimum
utilization of resources and minimum disturbance to production activities.
o Repair/Operation/Maintenance of HV & LV motors range from 70w to 135kw.
o Schedule Maintenance and testing/calibration of HT panels (VCB & VCU), Transformers
and their protection equipment’s.
o Analyze repetitive breakdowns, create, and execute action plans to address root
causes Breakdown Maintenance (Shift Maintenance).
o Timely Maintenance of LT panels (PCC & MCC), Transformers & lighting equipment’s.

 Procurement
o Regularly monitor availability of spares and work with the team to ensure optimum
inventory of spares for the section.
o For any new spares or material, prepare technical specification and provide same to
Purchase team. Work with the procurement team in evaluating vendors and short listing.
 Statutory requirements
o Where required liaison with the statutory bodies and government authorities for any
statutory compliances related to the electrical and instrumentation section in the plant.
o Resolve any coordination issues the team may face with other departments to ensure
smooth working of machineries & equipment across plant.
 MIS & Reporting
o Ensure records of all service, maintenance and refurbishing works carried out in electrical &
instrumentation section are maintained.
o Regularly review and analyze maintenance costs and electrical / instrumentation
performance records to initiate appropriate actions.
o Ensure all maintenance activities in the section are carried out in complete adherence of the
safety policies and procedures for the Plant.
o Auditing the other departments to meet the IMS requirements and to apply the same

 Timely Maintenance of ACB (Siemens Make 1600A), MCCB’s from 250A to 63A (Siemens &
Schneider Make) and Different MPCB’s ranging from 0.2A to 22A.
 Maintenance of 5MVA & 1MVA transformer Schneider Make and 33kv switch yard which is
connected to government supply.
 Operation of 3no.of 1200VA DG sets (Sterling Generators make) for connected load of capacity
