ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
— Update the Service Bulletin effectivity to remove MSN's 5295 and 4330 as MSN 5295 had
a QSR done prior to entry into service and MSN 4330 is written off
— Update the address and parameters in the Inspection Report (Figure A-GRAAA)
— Incorporate the validation report findings after accomplishment of this Service Bulletin on
aircraft with Manufacturer Serial Number (MSN) 3882.
This Service Bulletin has been generated electronically and is reissued as a complete docu-
ment. Replace the complete document.
Put this Revision Transmittal Sheet in front of the Service Bulletin.
No previous revision
NOTE: Only the aircraft identified by an Airbus Manufacturer Serial Number(MSN) in the ta-
ble are covered in this document.
The following information is provided for each Aircraft:
The Operator/MSN relationship is provided for information only and is correct at the
time of issue in accordance with the information available to AIRBUS. Any future
changes resulting from transfer of an aircraft from one operator to another will not be

REASON/DESCRIPTION/OPERATIONAL CONSEQUENCES
AIRBUS quality control identified that items manufactured with wrong aluminum alloy or
wrong heat treatment may have entered the supply chain. Detailed assessment of the im-
pact on aircraft structure of suspected and/or actual non conformance to design definition has
been performed.
The Inspection detailed in this Service Bulletin is focussed on potentially affected structural
parts located in the cabin area.
This Service Bulletin introduces a one time inspection of the potentially affected Part Number
(PN) in the cabin area.
NOTE: Service Bulletins (SBs) for the inspection of parts in the cargo compartment (Ser-
vice Bulletin No. A320-53-1299) and flaps (Service Bulletin No. A320-57-1198) have
been issued.
The procedure as described in this Service Bulletin is to be performed if no Airbus repair and/
or repair improvement has been previously performed in the same area. In case of repairs
performed previously, please contact AIRBUS Repair Support department for further instruc-
tions.
Accomplishment of this Service Bulletin will allow detection of the affected parts in the cabin
area.

(1) CLASSIFICATION
This Service Bulletin has been classified Mandatory by the issue of an Airworthiness Direct-
ive (AD) published by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The AD must be used as
the reference document for the mandated accomplishment timescale.
Table 1. Config. 001 Inspection of Cabin Parts following material Non Conformity

since the aircraft date of
manufacture.
F. APPROVAL
The technical content of this document is approved under the authority of Design Organisa-
tion Approval No. EASA.21J.031.
If an aircraft listed in the effectivity has a modification or repair embodied that is not of AIR-
