Students will be able to… identify various baby animals and correctly
pronounce the names.
Objectives

I can identify different baby animals and be able to correctly pronounce and

Necessary Prior Knowledge of basic, everyday animals–ducks, lions, birds

Paper and writing utensil for notes if wanted
Materials
Warm up: Discussion
1. Ask the class their favorite baby animals!
2. Sound out the name of these animals that students chose–examples could be a
panda (“pah-an-da!”), puppy (“puh-pee!”)
Introduction/Hook 3. Introduce the lesson – ‘Today, class, we are going to learn the names of
different baby animals!”

Presentation: big lesson!


- Students will listen attentively
- Teacher will ask the students what an animal is–students are asked to
answer

Activities & - After the lesson, the teacher will read a book on baby animals– Animal
