My name is Vicky Vale and I live in Miami. My uncle has a diner and we live in the
apartment above it. The diner is my home, my workplace and a great place to hang out
with my friends.
During the week I usually get up at 5am and help my aunt at the diner. I clean the tables
and chairs and she cleans the floor. Then, I go to College. I go back home at about 6pm
in the evening. There aren’t usually many customers in the diner at that time, so I do my
homework there. Then, I have my dinner. I rarely have hot dogs because I don’t like junk
food. At night my friends sometimes come to the diner. We usually talk about our future
and also play some video games.
I don’t work at the diner every evening. I work four times a week. I work till 8pm three
times a week, and on Saturdays, till 10pm. I really enjoy working at my uncle’s dinner.
