THEREFORE BE DONE WITH THE MACHINE TOTALLY DISCONNECTED
FROM MAINS POWER (THE RISK OF BURNS ON THE POSSIBLE
BRAKING RESISTANCE EXISTS ALL THE SAME!).

The safety devices must also be reset before connecting the control board to
the mains supply.

The direct and alternating current controls governing motor speed adjustment
contain devices for accumulating electrical power (condensers) which store electricity
for a certain period of time even when the control board is disconnected from the
mains supply.

Disconnect power, therefore, and wait for at least 5 minutes before

accessing the inside of the control board.

The electrical equipment will only work safely if installed in a sheltered place
and protected from rainfall.

Just a few maintenance operations are required in order to keep the machine
in perfect working order. These should be carried out to prevent the safety level from
deteriorating.

For all kinds of maintenance operations, please consult attachment n° 7.14

“LIST OF MATERIALS AND RELATIVE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS” in this
manual.

IMPORTANT

Please bear in mind, however, that routine cleaning of the control board
is fundamental for long _ life and safe operation.

IMPORTANT

Never use water to clean the control board!

5.3. - SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE

Whenever the control board requires specific maintenance, every

extraordinary maintenance operation must be communicated to the maker who will
send a technician to supervise the operation.

6. EMERGENCY

6.1. - EMERGENCY STOP

In case of danger, the red emergency mushroom button with block is located
on the control panel; this has a diameter of 40 mm and is fitted over a yellow plate.

The emergency stop function completely stops the control board and the
machine connected to it and is activated by pressing the above mushroom button.

It has absolute priority over all other machine commands.

To restart machine after an emergency stop, reset the command and repeat the
starting procedure.

6.2. - FIRE PREVENTION

In case of fire, disconnect the control board. Always use a powder extinguisher
(never water) that should be located near the machine.

Apply the standard procedures contained in the emergency plan of the user.

6.3. - HARMFUL EMISSION

Direct harmful emission from the machine can only occur in case of fire due to
the combustion of paint, plastic parts or liquid from the cooling installation if an air-
conditioner is installed. In this case, take the usual precautions used in case of fire.
