PERSONAL PRONOUNS

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Define personal pronouns.
b. Use personal pronouns (e.g. I, you, he, she, it, we, and they) effectively. EN2G-IVa-b-4.2.1
c. State the significant of personal pronouns.

Each ball has a word written on it. I’ll play a song,


and you will pass the ball to your classmate while
the song plays. When the music stop and you get the
ball, you must look for the written word and use it in
a sentence.

▪ Personal pronouns are the words that take the


place of a noun that names people or sometimes things.

 We use personal pronoun to avoid unnecessary


repetition of those nouns.

4. He refers to a male person spoken about.


Example: He is my father.

5. She refers to a female person spoken about.


Example: She is my mother.

6. It refers to an animal or thing.


Example: It is a beautiful place.

7. They refers to two or more persons, places, or things


spoken about.
Example: They are my classmates.

C. Application
