CREATING THE BARANGAY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM OF ________,

MAHAYAG ZAMBOANAGA DEL SUR

WHEREAS, the 1987 Constitution of the Republic of the Philippines mandates

the states to protect the and promote then right to health of the people and instill
health consciousness among them;
WHEREAS, Barangay ________ needs trained Emergency responders who
will rescue its citizen in time of emergency or chaos about by natural or man-
made calamities;
WHEREAS, said responders are group of individuals who will voluntarily
contribute time, service and resources whether full time or part time in the belief
that their activity is mutually meaningful and beneficial to public interest as
well as to themselves;
WHEREAS, through monitoring, meeting general assemblies, planning,
training, seminars and other related programs we can strengthen the Barangay
Emergency Response Team;

NOW THEREFORE, BY VERTUE OF THE POWER VESTED IN ME

BY LAW, I, ___________________________, Barangay Chairperson of
________ Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur, do hereby order the creation of
Barangay Emergency Response Team in Barangay_______, Mahayag
Zamboanaga del sur

SECTION 1: Composition: Barangay Emergency Response Team shall be Chaired by the

Barangay Chairperson, with the following:

SECTION 2. the newly organized Barangay Emergency Response Team will be tapped to
support the existing Mahayag Zamboanga del Sur Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
to make Barangay ________ and Bayog Zamboanaga del Sur Response Network centralized
and more effective:
SECTION 3. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Readily assist and respond during emergency situations.
2. Extend the necessary assistance to the LDRRM Council during disaster.
3. Perform such other function as maybe required by law and other related issuances.
SECTION 4. Effectivity. This order shall take effect immediately.
