and Pre- Marital Sex and HIV Seminar Workshop

VII- Rationale:

Today’s contemporary life there are lots of issues raised. One of the issues is all about the
Gender roles which should be given more emphasis to build better relations resulted to
productive community.

The role of any individual should not be relied on preferable gender. Hence, Collaborative
minds of both genders can bring out the best if the opportunities are given fairly.

On the other note, the gender role affected by the possible factors which contribute to the
inequality of roles, dominance of preferable gender and etc.

The GAD (Gender and Development) have been initiated which aims to develop persoective
and process that are participatory and empowering equitable, sustainable, free from violence,
respectful of human rights, supportive of self-determination and actualization of human
capabilities and potentials.

This program is design to eradicate the gender stereotype- a form of prejudgment, bias, or
limitation given to roles and expectations of males and females. In this manner, the target
audience will be acquinted and will respond to the roles that both genders should possess.

Eventually through this program it will result to enormous impact due to the trainings and
awareness conducted by the school or any related institution as it continues the goal GAD.
VIII- Objectives:
 To promote Gender Equality and Empower women.
 To acquaint with the different fundamentals of GAD needed for the better
growth of everyone.
 To strengthen the awareness of Anti Bullying Law and its penalties if
sections are violated.
