• You will need to following items to adequately set up your written exam space: o a computer or laptop with built-in OR USB plug-in camera for taking your test* o a Smartphone/tablet with a functioning camera and microphone for being proctored during your test* o reliable internet connection o a power source for both devices being used with a cord long enough to allow them to be moved if necessary o a phone stand or something to prop the phone/tablet on (i.e. nearby shelf, books unrelated to exam content, etc.) o government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) o a quiet room where you will be alone and undisturbed for up to two hours *Notes: Two devices with cameras are required for the written exam. • There should be adequate lighting so that the proctor can see you clearly (avoid having bright light, such as a window or lamp, behind you) • Your table or desk must be clear, other than the devices being used for your exam • The areas beneath your desk and chair should be clear • You must be alone in the exam room for the duration of the exam. No one may enter the exam room during the exam • There should be no noise from outside of the exam room (e.g., television, conversation) that would interfere with the ability of the proctor to monitor the exam. • Landlines, non-required electronics, and any security or recording devices in the room are turned off and are put away in a safe place/not within reach Additional Requirements • Before accessing the exam, download WebLock software to the device you will be completing the exam from. Please note, you must be logged in as a user with administrative rights on the device to successfully download the software. This software is required for completing the exam. Detailed instructions for downloading WebLock software can be found in your portal in the document titled “Preparing for your Live- Proctored Online CNT Written Exam.”

• Prior to the exam the proctor will request you to:
➢ show photo ID ➢ show a complete 360-degree view of the exam room ➢ remove items that are not permitted from the room (i.e. cameras, electronics, etc.) ➢ remove any jewelry or accessories that are not permitted (i.e. bracelets, watches, broaches, pins, etc.) ➢ show that your pockets are empty ➢ adequately demonstrate that a concern noticed by the proctor within the exam room is not a security concern. • You are not permitted to wear a hat, hood, coat or bulky clothing (except where it constitutes religious attire). • You may not access or use any non-required electronics during the exam. • You may not access or use a communication device or any type of recording device, other than those required for the examination (i.e. laptop/desktop computer and Smartphone). • Your pockets must be empty. • You are not permitted to wear any type of watch (use the timer in the exam software for keeping track of time). • Headphones/ear buds are not permitted unless the candidate has CCAOM’s permission for an assistive device. A request for accommodation must have been made during the registration process. • You will not be permitted to take any breaks during the exam. Use the restroom before connecting to the exam. • You may have a drink in a clear container that is capped when not in use. Snacks are not permitted unless permission has been obtained from CCAOM prior to the exam.
