A. Grade Level Standard


This course deals with the concepts, underlying principles, processes and implementation
of a business plan. The preliminaries of this course include the following: 1) discussion on the
relevance of the course; 2) explanation of key concepts of common competencies; 3)
explanation of core competencies relative to the course; and 4) exploration of career
opportunities.

Written Works
The following are the requirements for the written works:
1. Summative Examination – 1-2 every quarter/always announced
2. Quizzes, Exercises and Assignments – always announced
3. Class attendance

Performance Tasks
The following are activities given on each lesson for the students to target the 21 st century skills to be accomplished:
1. Topic presentation – may be individual or by group
2. Portfolio

4. Oral recitation
Quarterly Assessment
The following comprised the large portion of the student’ grade:
1. Quarterly Assessment – given on each quarter and is always announced

Performance Tasks – 45%
Quarterly Assessment – 30%

The passing grade is 75% through the accumulated percentage score from each component.

D. Class Policies

Classroom Decorum
Students are required to:
1. Check the sounds and video before the class starts.
2. Wear proper clothes during synchronous class.
3. Be ahead of/on time for the synchronous class in google meet.
4. Turn their camera on during synchronous class.
5. Keep the microphone muted, only opening it when told by the teacher.
6. Use the chat section to ask questions.
7. Respect one another.

Examination/Evaluation
Students who missed examinations, laboratory exercises, or quizzes may only be excused for any of the following
reasons:
a. participation in any school-approved activities (must be cleared two weeks after return)
b. personal illness (must present medical certificate); and
c. death or serious illness in the immediate family (must present death or medical certificate)
