Guideline PERI Corporate Design

Use of the PERI logo

Please comply with the following design rules when using the PERI logo:

Template vector graphic (EPS)

The PERI logo is available as an EPS file for professional use. This file can be altered in
size, both reduced and enlarged to any size with no loss in quality. Because it consists of
calculated curves/vectors, it can be recalculated as needed; thus, all edges remain even.
The EPS files of the PERI logo are available exclusively for professional applications and
can only be opened in professional software. They may be added to and altered in size,
but may not be overwritten or altered in colour or dimension (distortion of width or height).
The PERI logo can be supplied in different vector formats on request (PDF, SVG, etc.).

Template pixel graphic (JPG, PNG, GIF, TIF)

Pixel graphics of the PERI logo are made available individually on request and after appro-
val; they may be used with any software program. Because pixel graphics, in contrast to
vector graphics, have pixel borders rather than smooth edges, for optimum use they must
be calculated individually in each case. For speedy distribution, there is a stock of sizes
available in the PERI Media Center . A brief approval process is unavoidable, as experi-
ence has shown that they may be used in an unsuitable format and, thus pixelated images
may be published. The PERI logo must be used in the best possible quality to support the
PERI brand.

No use of the® symbol (= registered)

The PERI logo is legally protected as a word mark and trademark. Until now, it has therefo-
re carried the ® suffix for all uses in the print sector. Now this has been eliminated. In fact,
the PERI logo remains protected and visually there is a clear line with an optimal long-
distance and short-distance effect across all areas and instruments.

To achieve optimum impact, the PERI logo requires a minimum margin. This is calculated
using the bar width. The bar width is an X-value for all dimensions: upwards, one X from
the top edge of the yellow bar, and 1.5 X from the top edge of PERI. To the left, below and X
X
right one X from the yellow bar in each case. Larger spacing up to a maximum of 10 X is
permitted.

Colour
The PERI logo is available in differing colour formats for different applications. It should be
used in the corporate colours of red and yellow where possible. There is a CMYK version
for four-colour printing. There are full-tone versions in HKS or PANTONE, RGB versions for
digital purposes. In consultation with Marketing Communication, the PERI Logo may be
produced in full-tone black, red, silver or white on advertising materials. In this instance,
there is no difference between the colour of the bar and the word. For applications in
black-white, e.g. monochrome printing or as a logo on a fax sheet, the PERI logo shall be
used in a black-grey version with strictly defined colour values (PERI 100k, the bar in 40k).
It can be supplied in paint colours like RAL or NCS if required.

Transfer of the logo to external partners

A licence agreement is mandatory for the use of the PERI logo by external partners, e.g.
for publication on their homepage. In the respective case, the use will be examined by
the PERI patent counsel and, in the case of a positive evaluation, the contract is signed
by both the Licensee as well as the PERI Managing Director Innovation and Marketing and
the PERI Head of Intellectual Property.
