Sub: LEGAL NOTICE

Sir/Madam,

I am serving you with the LEGAL NOTICE on the instructions of my client Moji @
Taran Singh Resident of house no. 569, street no. 4 , Mahal Mubarak colony ,
Sangrur, Punjab regarding the order placed by my client on Zomato app in the
restaurant Super Donuts dated 15th February, 2022.

That my client placed an order for his dinner through your App at about 10:55 PM
on 15th February, 2022 from the restaurant Super Donuts, Sangrur amounting Rs
257/-.

That in pursuance of the above placed order, the bill amount of Rs 257/- was
generated through your Zomato App which was paid by my client immediately via
online transaction through Google Pay ( UPI transaction ID: 204622027842) . The
amount was transferred from my client’s account to your company’s account at
10:56 PM on 15th February, 2022.

That after the deduction of said amount, the said order was accepted by the
restaurant immediately and waiting time for the delivery of the order was provided
by you to my client was about 26 minutes.

That my client kept waiting for the time provided by your App, when his dinner did
not arrive my client raised the concern with Zomato interactive assistant about his
order. The assistant called my client and assured that the food will be delivered by
the restaurant within next 5-7 minutes.
That my client further waited for his food but it did not arrive. Shockingly, Zomato
and Super Donuts kept my client waiting for his dinner for long time and suddenly
they rejected the order at 11:36 PM, leaving my client with no option to have dinner
from anywhere else, slept without dinner.

That Zomato in connivance with Super Donuts restaurant has caused legal injury to
my client. My client is under utter shock since the above mentioned incident.

That you are required to compensate my client for the legal, mental, physical harm
caused to him. You are required to reply to this notice within 15 days from the day
of receiving the notice or else legal complaint will be initiated in the court of
competent jurisdiction.

The copy of above notice is retained with the legal counsel.

You are put to notice accordingly.
