Walis Tambo is a hand-crafted broom made from the flower stalks of Tiger grass cut from
the upland interior region called Alilem. Another classic which has withstood the test of time.
Many of the old Vigan houses have been cared for by zealous housekeepers wielding these hand-
crafted brooms.

The Walis Tambo is one of our most important household items. It is very effective in
sweeping dust and dirt or any other debris from cement or hardwood floors inside the house.
