community mental health is poorly
understood, particularly during the acute
period.

sector is unprepared to assist students as
they deal with the unprecedented effects
of COVID-19 outbreak.

Methodology
•Locale of the Study
• The study will be conducted in the City of Batac, a 5th class
city situated in the mid southwestern portion of the Province
of Ilocos Norte.
• The City of Batac has a land area of 16,101 hectares.
According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 55,484
people. Batac claims the reputation as the center of
education, research and wellness in Ilocos Norte
Methodology
Locale of the Study
• The study will be conducted at General Artemio Ricarte Senior
High School. General Artemio Ricarte Senior High School
(GARSHS) is established in June 2016, with School ID 340747. It is
in Barangay #35 Bil-loca, City of Batac, Ilocos Norte. It is located
along the highway and by the hillside.
• Since the school was established in 2016, Science, Technology,
Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Strand was offered in the
school. However, due to the approval of the offering Accountancy,
Business and Management (ABM) Strand in 2018, the school also
offers this Strand effective June 2019.
Research Design

The study will employ the descriptive research design and survey method
will be used in gathering data.

Descriptive studies are used to characterize many elements of a


phenomenon.

Descriptive research is a popular method for describing the features and/or


behavior of a sample population. It is a good way to obtain data for
hypotheses and associations.
