What literary piece has made a significant impact on your childhood?

Why is this literary
piece remarkable for you?

Since I was in elementary, I’ve been fond of reading Aesop’s Fable. I was really entertained
(actually until now) with its various stories of animals with human characteristics. What’s making
it more remarkable for me are the moral lessons and the knowledge and wisdom it offers, which
can make readers know more about friends, foes, trust, betrayal and being wise in a situation.

somehow mold my personality in terms of how we should treat people around us and also being
able to distinguish the character of a real friend and knowing how the fake ones will betray you.
And lastly it makes the readers become smart and wise when encountering any situations.

Are fables still important today?

Fables are timeless literary devices because of their ability to deliver moral messages in a simple
way that can be understood and enjoyed by readers of all ages. In fact, the fable is one of the oldest
and most lasting methods of both written and oral storytelling.

Why do fables have morals?

A fable is a short story that teaches a lesson or conveys a moral. ... Children tend to find this
appealing, making the moral of the story more relevant. Fables are closely associated with fairy
tales. While fairy tales can also feature talking animals, they don't have to feature a solid moral or
lesson as fables do.
