a) Research topic/title of the study Quantifying Senior High School Students’

Satisfaction in the Implemented
Modular Distance Learning

b) Research objective a) To identify what demographic variables,

play a significant role in the implementation
of modular distance learning (MDL) and on
areas of it.
b) to assess the level of satisfaction in MDL of
Senior High School Students’ as a whole,
and in areas of Content of Self-Learning
Modules, Teacher-Support, Parental
Support, and Assessment and
Feedbacking.
c) to determine in which demographic
variables their level of satisfaction exist and
whether their satisfaction has a correlation
with parents' highest educational attainment
or none

c) Theoretical Framework Behaviorism by B.F. Skinner

• learning based on the idea that all behaviors

are acquired through conditioning, and

conditioning occurs through interaction with

the environment.
d) Conceptual Framework In the specified Research Study, no conceptual

framework was found.

e) Research questions/statement of the a) What is the level of satisfaction of senior

Problem
high school students in MDL for each
statement in the questionnaire,
categorized according to pre-identified
areas?

b) What is the level of satisfaction of senior

high school students in MDL when they
are taken as a whole and as they are
grouped according to demographics
(grade-level, track, availability of gadgets
for academic use, and parents’ highest
educational attainment)?

c) Is there a significant difference in the level

of satisfaction of senior high school
students in MDL when they are grouped
according to grade level, track, and
availability of gadgets?

d) Is there a significant relationship between

the level of satisfaction of senior high
school students in MDL and their parents’
highest educational attainment?
f) Research design The study used Tourigny et al. (2010) descriptive-

comparative and descriptive-correlational design.

A descriptive, comparative design was used, which

is a quantitative, non-experimental research

approach. It's also known as informal comparative

research and pre-experimental research. The

major purpose of these designs is to figure out how

variables are connected, and Lathom-Radocy and

Radocy (1995) outline the variables and the natural

interactions that exist between and among them.

g) Respondents/participants and It was participated by 346 Senior High School

Sampling design
Students drawn through multi-stage sampling.

h) Research Instrument a researcher-made instrument was utilized.

The researcher also utilized module evaluation

and modular learning questionnaires available

online, such as “Student Experience on a Module

Survey” from The Open University, “Module

Feedback Questionnaire” from The University of

Warwick, and “Student Evaluation of Module”

from The University of Sheffield.

i) data analysis • Mean
