Graphic Organizer – Home Tour Assignment

1. Watch the video “Spanish Listening Activity House (With quiz)

Tour de Mi Casa, House Tour 2020” by Teacher Catalina on
YouTube independently, with headphones. Be sure to note the
names of the rooms in the house and what activities they are
intended for.
2. You will be filling out a graphic organizer in Microsoft Word,
giving a “house tour” of your own in Spanish. Please see the
sample graphic organizer I made below.
3. Include the following in your graphic organizer:
a. A box for each of the major rooms in your home (no need
to include others’ bedrooms or closets). You must include
at least five. The backyard, garden, balcony, and garage
count as rooms.
b. The boxes must follow a sequential pattern, beginning with
the room that you see when you first enter your home.
c. Each box must contain one sentence that includes both the
name of the room and an activity that you do in that room.
In the example organizer, note how each activity I selected
is specific to my own life, not a generic statement.
d. Proper Spanish grammar and spelling (check Google or
Cambridge Dictionary to spell check if needed). Correct
punctuation needs to be used in each sentence as well.
