Indian Coast Guard Ship repair (Annual under water routines, Short refit, Normal refit and Medium refit) projects,
coordination, management and execution of tenders, downloaded from e-procurement / defence procurement portals.
PRESENT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES BEING HELD – (SHIP REPAIR: PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
• Responsible for downloading all required documents for bidding, from e-procurement portals, and sharing
required necessary documents with my team and Project Manager.
• Prepare mandatory documents for technical cum financial bids and proposals as per tender requirements.
• Prepare comparative rate sheet and take project manager approval for finalizing total cost to be quoted, and
accordingly bid for the project and submit tenders online / manually as per tender guidelines.
• Track refit schedule and ensure there is no slippage in delivery schedule and informing to the project manager.
• Participate in daily client calls as a first point of contact for any escalation, and resolve issues if any, using
conflict management techniques, prepare and present status reports of cost evaluation to higher management
after completion of projects.
• Manage clients and coordinate with owners to ensure optimal level of client satisfaction.
• Coordinate and plan for actual ship/site visit, if necessary, by our site personnel, wherever it is mandatory, prior
to rate analysis before quoting of various type of vessels.
• Obtain inputs from site personnel after actual ship/site visit and forward enquiries to OEMs and PAC Firms of
equipments and receive their quotes for the repairs to be carried as per defect lists.
• Highlighting achievements, risks, ongoing & upcoming activities to avoid rework and ensuring quality of the
project and timely delivery of the vessel, coordinate with my team and clear all targeted defects within time.
ADDITIONAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES BEING HELD – (STRUCTURAL: QUALITY CONTROL & INSPECTION)
• Review contract documentation/specifications/quality plans to identify the quality requirements and
documentation deliverables.
• Conduct any quality hold points/inspections/tests or other customer nominated activities.
• Carry out materials inspections and verify segregation and traceability of materials.
• Carry out welding inspections at all stages of the process.
• Fit-Up Inspection (Including surveillance of pre-heat requirements, if any).
• In-Process Welding Inspection.

Project – 2: Submarine – Ballast Tanks and Cradles Manufacturing & Installation 2011 - 2013
Role: Project Coordinator
Fabrication and Supply of Cradles & Ballast Tanks for Indian Navy submarine project at Mazagon Dock Ltd site.
Responsibilities held in past:
• Track all project deliverables and coordinate with inspectors of Submarine Overseeing Team (Mumbai) and
third party inspection authorities while inspections. Daily interaction with our production team.
• Documentation work of projects, prepare MOMs. Manage daily, weekly and monthly dashboard of reports.
• Communicate and follow up with the Clients for sources, specifications and project requirements pertaining to
production / planning / design dept / QA dept.
• Ensure projects adhere to time frame and all documentation is being maintained properly for each project.
• Liaising with the project manager on various activities related to project execution, assess project risks,
timeline lagging issues, accompany and attend all progress review meetings and inform to higher management.

Project – 1: Submarine - Rudder Fin Stabilizer Fabrication & Installation 2007 - 2010
Role: Quality Control Inspector & Assurance / Document Controller.
Fabrication and Supply of Rudder Fin Stabilizers for Indian Navy Submarines project at Mazagon Dock Ltd site.
Responsibilities held in past:
• Study and review all drawings, work instructions and specifications issued by clients.
• Ensure all works being carried at site confirms quality requirements & stages of inspection (On-tack, during and
after full welding (visual inspection), final dimensional inspection, raising and closing Non-Conformity Reports.
• Responsible for obtaining Work Completion Certificate (WCC), Certificate of Conformity (COC) from
concerned dept. after completion of the job, archive soft copies of important documents digitally, retain back-up
of scanned data and responsible for submission of monthly progress report of projects being handled.
• Ensure works being carried out complies indicated with scope of work as per work instruction, approved QAP,
drawings /construction order specifications (COS) references and technical documents being implemented.
• Responsible for assisting and implementing quality, safety procedures in the projects as per the company safety
policy and all necessary precautions to minimize wastage/rework/damage during fabrication.
