I.Content Standards The learner recognizes that communicative competence requires


understanding of speech context.

II. Learning Competency At the end of 60 minutes period, 100% of the students are
expected to:

a.Learning Competencies EN11/12OC-llab-22; Employs various communicative strategies


from MELCS: in different situations and explains that a shift in speech context
affects the following: language form, duration of interaction,
relationship of speaker, role and responsibilities of the speaker,
message and delivery.
b.Specific Objectives:

-Differentiates the various types of speech context.


-Identify strategies in effective interpersonal skills and
intrapersonal skills.
-Explain the importance of effective communication skills.
