1. Motivation
- What do you see inside the kitchen?

- Are you familiar to the cooking utensils?

2. Modelling
These are the common cooking equipment and utensils that we used in our
kitchen.
Large Equipment:
Gas and electric cooker-An electric cooker is an electric powered cooking
device for heating and cooking of food. .
Steamers-A food steamer or steam cooker is a small kitchen appliance used to
cook or prepare various foods with steam heat by means of holding the food in a
closed vessel reducing steam escape.

fish fryers- A kitchen appliance used for deep frying. Deep frying is a method
of cooking by submerging food into oil at high heat.

Sink- A sink – also known by other names including sinker, washbowl, hand
basin, wash basin, and simply basin. Sinks have taps that supply hot and cold
water and may include a spray feature to be used for faster rinsing.

Table- A piece of furniture with a flat top and one or more legs, providing a
level surface on which objects may be placed, and that can be used for such
purposes as eating, writing, working, or playing games.
Mechanical Equipment
Mixers- A machine or device for mixing things, especially an electrical
appliance for mixing foods.

Refrigerators- An appliance or compartment which is artificially kept

cool and used to store food and drink. Modern refrigerators generally
make use of the cooling effect produced when a volatile liquid is forced
to evaporate in a sealed system in which it can be condensed back to
liquid outside the refrigerator.

Dish washers-A dishwasher is a machine used to clean dishware,

cookware, and cutlery automatically. Unlike manual dishwashing, which
relies heavily on physical scrubbing to remove soiling, the mechanical
dishwasher.

Blender-A blender is an electrical kitchen appliance used for mixing

liquids and soft foods together or turning fruit or vegetables into liquid.
Utensils and Small Equipment
Pots and Pan- Pots generally refer to high, straight sided cookware that will often
contain larger quantities of items. Pans may refer to frying pans, cake pans or
many other different types of kitchen cookware that have lower depth sides and a
variety of shapes and sizes.

Whisk- A whisk is a cooking utensil which can be used to blend ingredients

smooth or to incorporate air into a mixture, in a process known as whisking or
whipping. Most whisks consist of a long, narrow handle with a series of wire loops
joined at the end.

Bowls- Round bowls of varying sizes that are used for combining food ingredients
when preparing recipes.
Knifes- A knife is a tool or weapon with a cutting edge or blade, usually attached
to a handle or hilt.

Spoons and Pork-is that spoon is an implement for eating or serving; a scooped
utensil whose long handle is straight, in contrast to a ladle while fork is a pronged
tool having a long straight handle, used for digging, lifting, throwing etc.
