Discuss the following statement based on your perceptions, observations,

insights, and experiences.

1. Role of technology in your personal life.

 Technology nowadays shares a lot in my life, especially social media, by means of
communicating with others. In addition to that, technology helps me a lot in terms of
my teaching in my field. By means of technology we may be able to integrate our
lessons and activities through modern applications.

2. Impact of technology in education especially in teaching and learning.

 The said quotation structs to my mind, “That no permanent in this world but change” so
as an educator we must be flexible for the changes happening in our field. One impact
of the technology in our field is that as a teacher technology help us a lot it gave us a
comfort in terms of finishing our paperwork’s or workloads. In terms of learning as a
teacher we must experiment on something we my able to integrate in our teaching
profession.

3. Impact of technology on our society especially on the government, business,

environment, agriculture, and health.
 In terms of our society, technology is important because it helps to easily access the
needs of the people. For government we my able to update the people by means of
social media through news, like, for example the State of the Nation Address of the
President we my able to watch the said event via Facebook or television because the
innovation of technology to spread the news and events happening in the country. In
terms of business, technology integrates by means of creating presentations like, for
example, PowerPoint for the said meetings, and before we used typewriters to create
memos in the office but nowadays, we use Microsoft Word to create a document.

4. Five (5) technology tools/platforms that you have already used in the delivery
of learning to students.
 Kahoot/ Quizziz for assessment
 BBB/Schoology for conducting online class during this time of pandemic
 Slido/Padlet for essay/ for sharing thoughts and ideas with relation of the said topic that
already discussed
 Microsoft Teams/GMEET/Zoom for alternative tool for conducting online classes
 Microsoft Excel for computation of grades
 Microsoft Powerpoint/Canva for presentations of the lessons

5. Experience in the implementation of technology-based education during the

pandemic.
 As a millennial we my able to adapt to the said changes with regards to technology during this
time of pandemic, but the struggle that I’ve encountered is when my students are having a hard
time using the said conference which is the Big Blue Button on the 1st qtr. Because we all knew
that the said Learning Management System is new for all of us, so we patiently instructed them
with regards to the navigation of the said tool for conducting online classes. In addition to that,
as young ones, we must teach to the baby bummers teacher in our institution for them to adapt
and learn with regards to the said Learning Management System that we will be using to teach
our students during this time of pandemic. But for the outcome I really like the new learning
with regards to the tools and application we can integrate into our lessons.
