a. Disconnect the coupler antenna cable at the 532R cut-off connector (1)
(Figure 1).

b. Remove the strips and the bindings (4) (Figure 2) attaching the antenna
cable duct (3) (Figure 2) or the duct (5) (Figure 2) on the masts (2), (6) and
(7) (Figure 2).

c. Remove the weight attachment (8) (Figure 2) on the fin. Open the swivel (9)
(Figure 2) and remove it from the hook (10) (Figure 2 - DETAIL A).

d. Remove the cable holding plate (11) (Figure 2 - DETAIL C).

e. Remove the snap hooks (12) (DETAIL B) from their attachment point.

f. Cut the lockwire (13) (Figure 2).

g. Disengage the spring (14) (Figure 2 - DETAIL D) from its attachment on the
caliper (16) (DETAIL D).

h. Loosen the connector support plate.

i. Remove the internal part of the 532R cut-off connector.

j. Unsolder the antenna cable and remove the antenna.

2. Installation.

To enable the installation and make sure that certain accessories are not
forgotten during assembly, Airbus recommends placing the parts of the
antenna on a table in the chronological order of use.

a. Prepare a length of antenna cable and braided duct corresponding to that

removed (or measured on the helicopter), making sure that there is a certain
safety margin. Do not cut the NOMEX duct over the whole length of the
cable.

(1) Insert the antenna cable (3) in the turnbuckle (15) (DETAIL D).
Pull a good length of cable and connect it to the 532R connector (1)
(Figure 1).

(2) Install the threads (18) (DETAIL B). The positions and dimensions must
be the same as those of the removed cable. Apply a layer of Varnish
CM 514 on the bindings (17) (DETAIL B).

(3) Insert the antenna cable in the braid (5) and pull the threads (18) out
through the braid.

(4) Attach the snap hooks (12).

(5) Pull the antenna cable out of the duct at the turnbuckles and masts (2),
(6), (7) and (15).

(6) Install the turnbuckle (19) (DETAIL A) on the antenna cable (3).

(7) Install the swivel (9) on the hook (10) of the rear mast (7) (DETAIL A).

(8) Attach the antenna terminal (8) on the structure. Apply a layer of
Varnish CM 514 on the attachment.

(9) Attach the antenna cable (3) on the rear mast (7) using the SPIRCORD
thread (4).

(10) Attach the antenna on the crank pin (6) (DETAIL C) through the holding
plate (11).

(11) Attach the turnbuckle (15) (DETAIL D) using the spring (14) on the
mast (2) (DETAIL D).

(12) Adjust the caliper (16) as per DETAIL E.

(13) Safety with Lockwire CM 776.

(14) Attach the braid (5) (Figure 2) on the masts (2) and (6) using the
SPIRCORD thread (DETAIL C and DETAIL D).

(15) Insert the antenna cable in the bulkhead feedthrough.

(16) Solder the cable on the 532R connector (1) (Figure 1).

(17) Using Cleaning agent CM 217, clean the surfaces in contact of the
connector support.

(18) Attach the connector on the support cowling and then attach the
support cowling on the bulkhead.

(19) Connect the coupler antenna cable connector.

(20) Attach the snap hooks (12) on the structure.

(21) Apply a layer of Varnish CM 514 on the different bindings and then
