CRN No 022 Notice For Final Bastille Day Celebration
R N Shah International School welcomes all the students to take part in the Bastille Day
event on 15thJuly 2019.
On Monday, 15th July,2019 During the assembly, the French students will be sharing
their knowledge about the Bastille day and its importance with the students. A video
will be shown about the French day. Students will sing a French song.
Let’s get together and celebrate by learning about the history behind this day. Some fun
activities are lined up for the children. The activities are segregated grade-wise and the
activities would be held as per the schedule given below:
We look forward for an enthusiastic participation from the students with a hope that the
students will gather information and enhance their creativity. Students will get 30 mins to
complete this activity.
** Note:
1. Grade 1 and 2:
Students will be given an outline of Eiffel tower. Students have to collect the buttons of
shirts or dresses and bring them to school. They will decorate the Eiffel tower using these
buttons.
2. Grade 3, 4 and 5:
Students will be given an outline of Eiffel tower. Students have to get magazine papers.
They will tear the papers into small bits and stick them on the Eiffel tower outline given to
them. They will decorate the Eiffel tower using the bits of papers.
3. Grade 6, 7 and 8:
Students will have to carry some used CDs to make a wall hanging. They are expected to
show their creativity by decorating the CDs, keeping the French theme in mind. For
example: small size Print outs of Pictures related to France and small French quotations.
Colored pens (if they wish to use), a ribbon, sketch pens or color pencils and any other
decorative material they wish to get.
4. Grade 9 and 10: Students are supposed to carry sticks made by rolling the newspaper.
Students will assemble them in the school and make an Eiffel Tour. Students also need to
bring the other material like glue etc. to assemble the Eiffel Tower.
