- Citizenship ensures that older individuals and those with disabilities
have equal access to key benefits. Several immigrants have strong
feelings for their home country. In fact, many countries allow dual
citizenship, allowing you to preserve your status in both your home
country and the United States.
2. What does it mean to be an active and engaged citizen in our society?
- Being an active and involved citizen in our society demonstrates that
you care and that you have done your civic duty. That you should live
not only for yourself but also for others, and that we must fulfill our
societal obligations.
