Installation requirement
1. Space Requirements
Check the site for proper space allocation. In addition to the space required for the analyzer itself, arrange for:
Ø proper height to place the analyzer;
Ø at least 100cm between the left and right side door of the analyzer and the walls, which is the preferred
access to perform service procedures;
Ø at least 50cm behind the analyzer for cabling and ventilation.

2. Power Requirement

  Voltage Input power Frequency

Analyzer 100-240V~ 160VA 50/60Hz

3. Environmental Requirements
Ø Operating temperature range: 18℃-35℃
Ø Relative humidity: ≤ 70%
Ø Atmospheric pressure: 70.0kPa-106.0kPa

Installation step

1. Check the accessories according to the packing list contained inside the packaging. If you notice any
missing or wrong part, please immediately notify the manufacturer or your local distributor.

3/21
Installation step

2. Prepare a hex wrench (M2.5) to unscrew the two screws which fasten the right door on the back of
the analyzer to remove the right door.
3. Cut the cable ties binding to the sampling module and remove the ties.

Installation step

4. Remove the protective sticker and install the right door back.

*Note:
When we remove the protective sticker, please tear it carefully. Make sure there is no residual glue remain on the cover.

5/21
Installation step

5. Open the left access door, cut the cable ties which fasten the reagent bottle cap assemblies.
Insert the cap assembly marked with “Lyse” into the reagent bottle, place the reagent bottles into the
analyzer and close the door.

6/21
Installation step

6. Take out the diluent and waste transfer assemblies from the accessory box. Connect the connectors to the
back of the analyzer according to the color and label of the connectors.

7/21
Installation step

7. Remove the “First Startup Notice” label on the power switch and connect the supplied power cable.

*Note:
① The analyzer must be properly grounded; otherwise it may cause personal injury and inaccurate analysis results;
② Using pin board may bring electrical interference and the analysis results may be unreliable. Please place the
analyzer near the electrical outlet to avoid using the pin board. The pin board must also be grounded if it must be used.

Installation step
8. Turn on the power switch, it will automatically perform self-test about 50s after startup. Then it will pop up a
login interface. Login with administrator permission. After login, if the self-test passed, it will automatically
carry out the background test (the sample is air). If install the analyzer for the first time after a long-term
storage, there may be an abnormal background, please contact local distributor or the manufacturer.

Installation step
10. System status confirmation
① Sensor
Click “Status” - “Sensor” in the main menu to check the sensor status, which should be as shown in the figure
below. If not, please find out the cause first and carry out the sample test until the status is normal.

10/21
Installation step

② Voltage
Click “Status” - “Voltage” in the main menu to check if the measured voltage is within the range (if out of range,
the corresponding item will be highlighted with red background). Carry out the sample test until the status is
normal.

11/21
Installation step

③ Gain Setup
Click “Setup” - “Gain Setup” in the main menu to check if the HGB blank voltage is within 4.5±0.2. If it is out of
range, adjust the set value of HGB to make it within the range.

12/21
Installation step

④ Version info
Click “Status” - “Version Info.” in the main menu, take a picture of the following interface or take a screenshot of it
by using the “Print Screen” function key on the keyboard. Name the picture with the analyzer serial number +
version information and save it.

13/21
Installation step

11. Background test:

Click “Performance” - “Background” in the main menu, select the “Whole Blood” mode, and press test key to
start the test. If not all parameters pass, please contact local distributor or the manufacturer.

14/21
Installation step
12. Whole blood reproducibility test:
① Find a sample that meet the requirement as belowing:

② Enter “Sample Analysis” interface, select the “Whole Blood” mode, and test the sample for 10 times. After
the test is complete, enter the “Review” interface, select the test data and click ‘Trend Graph’ to check whether
all the ‘CV%’ values meet the whole blood reproducibility requirement. If not, please contact local distributor or
the manufacturer.
Whole Blood
Reproducibility
Parameter Detection Range
(CV/absolute
deviation)
WBC 4.0×109/L~15.0×109/L ≤2.0%

RBC 3.50×1012/L~6.00×1012/L ≤1.9%

HGB 110g/L~180g/L ≤1.5%

MCV 80fL~110fL ≤1.0%

100×109/L~149×109/L ≤5.0%
PLT
150×109/L~500×109/L ≤4.0%

13. Calibration:

There are two kind of calibration method: “Calibrator” and “Fresh sample” calibration: we can choose one of
them to do the calibration.
① “Calibrator” calibration
l Enter “Calibration” - “Calibrator”, input the information (Lot No.,
Exp.Date, Target) of R&D calibrator (only this is recommended) .
l Then test the calibrator for at least 5 times continuously.
l Check the reproducibility. If all the CV(%) values meet reproducibility
requirement in the table of step 12 and all the calibration factors are
within 75%-125% (normal range), exit this menu by going to other
menu to save the calibration factors. If not, you can continue to test,
10 times at most. If we don’t have R&D calibrator, we can try the
“Fresh sample” calibration.

16/21
Installation step

② “Fresh sample” calibration

l Get 3-5 (at least 3) traceable fresh samples that meet the range
requirement of step 12;
l Enter “Calibration” – “Fresh sample Calibration” interface, input
the target value of fresh sample 1 in the 'Target' row;
l Test it at least 5 times continuously.
l Check the reproducibility. If all the CV(%) values meet
reproducibility requirement in the table of step 12 and all the
calibration factors are within 75%-125% (normal range),;
l Repeat for fresh sample 2, 3, 4 and 5 as sample 1.
l After finishing testing, click ‘Calculate’, you will see the final
calibration factor. Exit this menu by going to other menu to save
the final calibration factors.

14. QC Test

① Input QC information

Enter “QC” – “Setup” – “Add” interface, input R&D QC (only

this is recommended) information according to the assay
sheet, then click ‘Return’ to save. If you don’t have R&D QC
as shown below, please skip the “QC test”, but it is
necessary to do QC test for confirming the analyzer’s status
and performance.

18/21
Installation step

② QC measurement

Click “File No.” in “QC” menu to select low level QC file, then test low level QC for 1 time. If all results are black
without any ‘H’ or ‘L’ flag, it means the analyzer passes QC test. Repeat for other 2 levels (normal then high).

19/21
Installation step
15. System Setup
Enter “Setup” - “System Setup” - “Lab Info Setup” interface, input the appropriate information as required.

16. Shut down

Please click bottom left corner > 'Shutdown’ and then follow the prompts step by step. Turn off the analyzer when the
message 'Please turn off the power of analyzer!' displayed on the screen.
Finally, train the operators until they master the operation flow of analyzer.
