● DOWNLOAD IMAGES RELATED TO THE PROJECT AND PASTE IT IN THE PROJECT.
●Take Assignment sheets(Simple or designed one side plain and line page) and cover it in any Stick file.
TOPICS:
Scientific investigations involving laboratory testing and collecting information from other
sources.
A few suggested Projects :Students can chose any project from the following suggested topics or they
can choose any other topic related to chemistry other than these.
• Checking the bacterial contamination in drinking water by testing sulphide ion
• Study of the methods of purification of water
• Testing the hardness, presence of Iron, Fluoride, Chloride, etc., depending upon the
regional variation in drinking water and study of causes of presence of these ions
above permissible limit (if any).
• Investigation of the foaming capacity of different washing soaps and the effect of
addition of Sodium carbonate on it
• Study the acidity of different samples of tea leaves.
• Determination of the rate of evaporation of different liquids.
• Study the effect of acids and bases on the tensile strength of fibres.
• Study of acidity of fruit and vegetable juices.
2.REVISION WORK- Do reading of unit-2 Structure of atom from NCERT.

on the role of Grandmother in Khushwant Singh's life in about 150 words.

3.War leaves an everlasting impact on the minds and the souls of the people . Carry a research on
Ukraine war , considering it write an ARTICLE in about 150 words describing and discussing
it's consequences on the Commons.

4. Design a POSTER on full page of your A 4 Size Plain Sheet as an appeal for conserving
water as most parts of India are facing serious problems and have been hit by drought. Mention
Do's and Don'ts in this concern along with Slogans.

5. Cut out 5 Newspaper clippings/ cuttings of Classified Ads under the headings –
