Let’s Learn

There are instances where we encounter difficult problems.

Sometimes giving up is our only choice. During these trying moments, we
appreciate the presence of our love to one's home we can count on to be
there for us.
Our burden becomes light because of their encouragement and
support. They help us realize that life must go on and that we must
continue to face all trials and difficulties with great courage and
determination. Courage is a virtue where mental or moral strength resists
opposition, danger, and hardship.
It implies firmness of mind and will in the face of danger or extreme
difficulty. It is needed for one’s survival when facing problems.

Courage and determination are necessary for a person to fulfill his or

her mission. A person who has courage and determination finishes his or
her work well and on time.
He or she does not stop until he or she reaches his or her goal in life.
No amount of trials and difficulties can discourage him or her from going
on.
A person who does not have courage and determination changes his
or her mind often and quits when things get rough. Such a person is not
likely to succeed.
Determination, on the other hand, is a fixed intention or solution to
attain one's goal and aim in life until the end. If we are steadfast in facing
our trials with courage and great determination, we can survive, fulfil our
dreams, and succeed in life.

We can be courageous and determined by:

● being brave to correct anyone who made a mistake
● doing our best to finish the work assigned to us no matter how
difficult it is
● continuing with whatever we do even if we made a mistake
● admitting our mistakes and faults
● facing all trials and difficulties in life

We must do all our ordinary duties extraordinarily well.

If there are lessons in school that we find difficult, we do not give up at
once. We find ways to understand them by asking those who are more
knowledgeable on that matter.
At home, when problems arise, we try to be strong by finding the
proper solutions. We may seek advice from those more experienced. There
are many ways where one can give encouragement to those persons
around him or her: letter giving, a brotherly and sisterly hug, a tap at the
back, a prayer, a smile, and many more.

Just like Aquino, he experienced many trials in his life. He was
imprisoned because he fought for justice and peace.

He had to leave our country for many years. But with courage and
determination, he decided to come home to bring back democracy to the
Filipino people.
However, he was assassinated upon his arrival at the airport. He is
now considered a hero. Let us emulate his strength of will to reach his goal
in life.
A courageous person has the heart to inspire, move, and help other
people to be determined in facing the daily struggles of life. Let us willingly
share in the sufferings of others just as they share their life with us. It is
their encouragement from one another that we can endure and carry on
with our lives.
Let us look at trials and difficulties as gifts to make us better persons.
That is, consider them as the key to our success in fulfilling our dreams.
During this time, let us always call God. He will never fail us when we call
him.
