Nowadays, with the advancement of technology, the way we produce products is easier than ever.

From the production workflow to processing, not only we're able to reduce the time it takes, but
also the cost of production is significantly reduced with increased efficiency and quality. Thanks
to the invention of machines from simple to industrial; we are manufacturing precise components
with intended properties.

I was always obsessed with systems and how they work, are manufactured, how perfectly they are
designed, and what was used to design those perfect devices and pieces of equipment - From the
simplest items to the most complex ones, I dismantled many tools just to see what was inside. All
of this prompted me to work on my undergraduate program. My passion for design and material
engineering made me even more motivated to pursue a master's degree.

During my five-year stay at my undergraduate school, I was always interested in projects that
could challenge my peers and me. Given the curiosity of designing equipment that is safe, sound
and long-lasting with the appropriate material properties. By the help of design software to capture
design intent and to the tools that shape them into reality, which excites me.

Equipped with the passion and knowledge of design and manufacturing, my skills gained from
working in workshops and laboratories prepared me for further education.

Getting a master's degree will help me become a more efficient and competent engineer. After
graduating, I set out to work as a product designer and developer for major manufacturing
companies. At the same time, I will create an independent business and work as a consultant
engineer by establishing connections with different firms. I will also work in research institutes
that help me do more research to increase my knowledge.

As far as research scopes are concerned, I believe strong research skills are paramount.
Collaborating with partners to create team spirit is key to success. Electromechanical engineering
has allowed me to pursue a career where I can be creatively involved in problem-solving and
designing functional components.
I am interested in participating in Professor Grant McSorley's 'automatic parametric design of
custom components' & 'the development of re-usable Personal Protective Equipment.' I have a
strong desire to be successful in contributing to these programs.

The courses I took, and my internship at a manufacturing company have boosted my interest in
manufacturing engineering. I believe the education and mentorship I get, the research I do with
my peers, mentors, and supervisors, will make me a qualified individual in my area of expertise. I
can't wait to join the program.

Thank you so much for your time.
