Alhamdulillah, first and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to God for allowing me
to complete this assignment. Fortunately, all of the issues could be resolved and were able to
adapt effectively and prudently.

Apart from that, I would like to express my gratitude to my lecturer, Dr. Amri B. Ab. Rahman
for the guidelines to finish this assignment. He has always taught and guided us in
understanding the concepts we need to know while studying this subject of creative thinking
and in producing good project work.

Finally, i want to congratulate and thank my dear friends for always sticking together and
helping me to finish this assignment. I'm hoping that all of the funds will be beneficial to both

product, allowing us to develop it in a variety of ways.
INTRODUCTION

This eFootball Pes 2021 is a football simulation video game developed by PES (Pro
Evolution Soccer) Productions and published by the KONAMI company for Microsoft Windows,
PlayStation, Xbox One, Android and IOS. The game is the 20th instalment named with PES
and the 25th instalment named with Winning Eleven in Japan. It is an updated edition of
eFootball PES 2020 which containing the latest player data and club rosters. This game has
been regarded as a rival to EA Sport’s FIFA series which it has been described by The
Guardian as the “greatest rivalry” in the history of sports video games. The gameplay simulates
a typical game of association football with the player controlling either an entire team or a
selected player. Various game modes have been featured in the series, allowing for gameplay
variety including the Kick Off, Online and Offline modes. In addition to these modes, there is
an editing one where the user can create teams of their own.

The purpose of this report is to clarify the problem of the eFootball Pes 2021 that were
commented by the users and make creative solution for the problem. The CPS (creative
problem solving) is a technique of how to solve problems or to identify any opportunities when
the conventional thinking has failed. This technique encourages you to find fresh perspectives
and you will come up with innovative solutions. By this, you can formulate a plan to overcome
the problems and reach your goals.

However, dealing with these kind of obstacles, problems and challenges has become
a regular part of our working life and overcoming them is not always easy. To improve our
products, services, communications and interpersonal skills, one need to encourage creative
thinking and find any innovative solution to solve the problems.

CPS has separate thinking which are divergent and convergent as a way to solve the
problems. Divergent thinking is the process of generating lots of potential solutions and
opportunities, or it can be known as brainstorming. Convergent thinking is involved with
evaluating options and choose the most promising one. Therefore, we often use these two as
a combination to develop new ideas or solutions to problems. However, using them
simultaneously can result in unbalanced or biased decisions and can stifle idea generation.

Albert Einstein, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Edison and other brilliant minds have
always worked in a similar manner. They do not wait for inspiration to come to them. Rather,
they concentrate on attempting to answer an issue that is clearly stated, at least in their
thoughts.
 Creative Problem Solving is a term that has been coined to describe this technique
(CPS). CPS has 4 principles which are divergent and convergent thinking must be balanced,
ask problems as questions, defer or suspend judgement and focus on “yes, and,” rather than
“No, but”. Without even realising it, highly creative people tend to follow this pattern in their
heads. People who are not inherently creative merely need to learn how to apply this basic
approach.
PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

This is the responses gathered from the prior questioner's user. We can see that there
are many positive comments and only a few problems that the user has encountered.
However, there are comments in both figures, where the user complaints that the video game’s
server need to be fixed, connection error and graphic of the game.

The users dislike where the game has problem with the connection error and issue with
the server. It makes difficult for them to play with ease as the error pops up every time they try
to play.
 When an user wants to play the video game application, it also takes longer to load.
For this issue, the eFootball Pes 2021 requires users to use strong data or internet when
using it, which is a problem when they wish to use it in a specific location. The loading issue
makes it difficult for users to play it when they wish to spend their time with video game.

This application also has problem with its graphic as certain mobile is not compatible
with the application. This could lead to reduction and lower user can play the video game. It is
for sure developer wants the best gameplay for the users, but some are eager to play and will
complaint as they can play other game such as Mobile Legend, PUBG and others but not this
application.

Another minor issue is that this application lacks of competition or tournament. Many
users suggests that competition is needed as it could be a platform for them to fully utilize their
skills in gaming platform. This proves that video game can be functional not just wasting time
but also can interact with other people from various place.
CREATIVE IT SOLUTION

1) Link Server with Amazon or better -

The video game application eFootball Pes 2021 need to be upgraded especially for its
server. Nowadays, many people have been using mobile and many of them will download
game to spend their leisure time. Therefore, a suitable server that could fit many people from
various place could reduce the time loaded for them to play the game. For example, they could
link their server with Amazon which their server has large capacity and no need to wait people
to log off for other people can enter it. This way, they will play without complaining about the
server that made them waiting too long.

2) Make the application compatible –

An application needs to compatible with each device user using accordance to its
storage space used and graphics. However, when the video game application is on trending
or popular among men especially football lover must feel they want to spend their leisure time
by playing the game. But not all people have good devices, some may have decent. Which is
why the compatible need to be adjusted accordance to the graphic that their devices can play.

3) Fix connection issue –

Not everyone can get good connection due to poor connection at their place. The
company need to remove the connection issue and limited them to play offline mode only.
Some may have problem with connection during bad weather like rainstorm, hot summer and
so on. This may encourage them to play the game without worrying about their connection.

4) Appropriate gameplay –

In video game, gameplay is important to get good impression from the users so they
can play with fun. It could leave good review on company on how they can give the upmost
gameplay for the users. It could also attract many users to play their video game.
OTHER CREATIVE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM

Online Competition Opportunities

Nowadays, there are a lot of people or users that has downloaded video gaming
application such as Mobile Legends, PUBG, Free Fire and others. These applications have
launched years ago and received a warm welcome. The companies also managed to offer
opportunities to those who has skills and give good impressions to the applications by creating
an online tournament.

Many people from various place can participate regardless of their gender, age and
race. This could also boost sportsmanship amongst them and offer those people to be a
streamer. With this, they can generate income not only just wasting their time on video gaming.

Especially this application, eFootball Pes 2021 has a lot common in our country which
is football is one of the famous sports. Many football lovers eager to play this type of game
and ready to spend their leisure time through joining the online competition.
CONCLUSION

The conclusion is, eFootball Pes 2021 is an application that great for people to spend
their leisure time. This video gaming can be matchmaking with other people from other regions
and improve their sportsmanship. This type of game could give chance to people to befriend
with people that has the same hobby. By improving this application, it can be more fun for
football video gaming application users.
