There are two types of power source in airconditioning and refrigeration;

1. Single phase alternating current source- where two wire is being connected into the
terminal of the compressor. Automation is also connected in the control circuit for the
purpose of continuous operation controlling the temperature in the evaporator of the
systems.
2. Three phase alternating current source- where three wire is being connected into the
terminal of the compressor. Automation is installed into the control circuit automatic and
manual selector knob controlling temperature into the evaporator for the purpose of
setting the temperature in the compartment.
