 Using the difference between room & set temperature (∆Troom-set)
 Example 1) When ∆Troom-set is over 2.5℃, Target Step will be 11 Step;
: 11 Step  1st and 2nd Operation Step, therefore :
 comp will operate at 1st Operation Step for 2 minutes,
 and operates at 2nd Operation Step for another 2 minutes before go to Target Step
which is Step 11.
 Example 2) When ∆Troom-set is between 0.5℃0.99 ℃, Target Step will be Step 5;
: 2nd Step  5 Step  1st Step, therefore :
 Comp. will operate at 1st Operation Step for 2 minutes and

 Make sure there is no heat or steam around indoor unit. Reduce cooling capacity.
 Make sure heat radiation from condenser is not blocked. Cause low performance.

How? 단단한 벽을 선정 Why?


중심을 고정
 Select strong and solid wall. 수평계를 이용 수평을 맞춤 Prevent vibration and unit fall off  damage.
 Measure the wall and mark the centerline. Easy wiring and piping through the wall.
 Horizontally align the plate centerline using horizontal level If unit is slanted, water leakage may occurs.

진동을 예방하고 제품낙하 예방


Work Process : 쉽게 결선 및 연결배관 작업할 수 있음
수평이 맞지 않을 경우, 누수 문제로 연결됨

 Select strong and solid wall. 경사지게 타공 Prevent vibration and unit fall offdamage.
 Drill the piping hole with a ø70mm hole core drill. Easy wiring and piping through the wall.
 Drill at either right or left with the hole slightly slanted Slanted to outdoor to ensure proper water flow.

벤딩 시 파이프 꺽임 예방을 위해
How bend the pipe properly? 튜빙 파이프 벤딩 방법 Why? 벤딩되는 부위를 잡고 천천히 작업해야 함
 Hold and press at the corner of the piping. Use it as a center of rotation to prevent damage.
 When bending downward or to the left side, do it gently. Prevent damage to pipe which can cause cycle blockin

Work Process :

 Drill the wall if customer wants the piping through the wall. Customer satisfaction.
배관연결이 쉬운 장소 선정
 Use the tubing holder when bending the pipe for connecting. Sufficient space for easy piping.
 Make sure to be extra careful when bending the pipe. Piping may get damagedclogged cycle.

How? 해안가 설치 시 직접 해풍에 노출되는 것을 방지해햐 함 Why?
 Secure the unit with an anti-vibration damper. Prevent the vibration to the unit
 Secure the unit with nail or wire  strong wind or earthquake. Product fall offdamage
 If install site is close to seaside, avoid direct exposure. Prevent from product or part corrosion.

Piping Work 배관 연결

How? 변형,변색된 연결 파이프 사용하면 안됨 내부부식 파이프 사용시 밸브 막힘의 원인이 될수있음
0.7mm이하 두께의 동관을 사용하면 안됨 Why? 두께가 0.7mm 이하시 가공 불량의 원인이 될수있음
 Do not use collapsed,deformed or discolored copper pipe. Expansion valve may become blocked.
 Never use copper pipes thinner than 0.7mm. Pipe may get damaged during flaring work .

Precaution : Selecting Copper Pipe :

• Sealed ends of pipes with a cap until connected. Thickness (mm)

Burr 미제거시 누설 막힘 원인이 됨
파이프 절단 후 Burr 제거 Why? 0.7mm이하일 경우, 후레아 불량 높음
How? 0.7mm이하 파이프 사용 금지
 Remove the burrs after cutting work. Prevent burrs from enteringclogged cycle.
 Never use copper pipes thinner than 0.7mm. Pipe may damage during flaring work .

How? 배관 연결시, 파이별로 토크 관리하여 체결할 것
 Make sure that the flare do not have any scar or dust, etc. Prevent strange material from entering system.
 Make sure to follow the given applied torque. If applied torque is too strong, flare will get
damaged.

색상에 일치하여 결선함 느슨하게 체결 시 접촉 저항불량 발생됨
체결부 단단히 조여줘야 함 전선의 임의 연장시, 전기적 노이즈 에러발생
임의 연장을 하면 안됨 될수 있음 (Ch05, Ch53)
How ? Why?
 Connect the wires between indoor & outdoor If the wires are not matched, communication

부적절한 임의 연결시 화재의 위험 있음 Tips : 에어컨 자체 수명기간 동안 전선연결부의


Case of field defect : 통신에러 발생될 수 있음 견딜 수 있도록 작업해야 함

 Unproper extended wiring connection  Electrical part is not used for only 1~2 years .

전선 연장시 방법

Extending electric wire;

1st layer of insulation :


Make sure to solder the wires to reduce the contact
resistance and by using thermal contraction tube.

2nd layer of insulation :


Wrap the connection with insulation tape to prevent
exposure to moisture/surrounding

1. 1차 절연을 위해 접촉 저항을 최소화하기


위해 납땜 작업 및 절연tube를 사용함.
2. 2차 절연을 위해 절연 Tape로 마무리해
주는 것을 원칙으로 함

Issue : Power lines and communication lines connected by bad
practices of connecting wires lead to the PL issue (fire).
전원 통신선 연결 불량으로 pl사례가 발생 되어 전선 연결작업 방볍 기준을 정립함
