SOLUGUM FMP 222

DESCRIPTION
SOLUGUM FMP 222 is an optimized blend of selected and standardized hydrocolloids that forms firm and elastic
gels with effective water holding functionality imparting, improved texture, better slice ability and low syneresis to food
products.
SOLUGUM FMP 222 is a functional system especially designed for use in diverse food products. The main
applications are cooked sausages (hot dogs, Frankfurters, luncheon meat) and it is also advisable for processed
cheese (portions and spreads).

DOSAGE
Processed meats : 0.5% - 0.8% depending on formula, desired texture
Processed cheese : 0.3% - 0.5% depending on formula, desired texture

FUNCTIONALITY
Solubility : partly soluble in cold water, soluble in hot water
Water viscosity (1.5%, 75°C) : > 500 cP

STORAGE CONDITIONS & GUARANTEE


The product must be stored in dry and temperate place. In these conditions a 24 months shelf life period is guarantee.

Federal Regulations (21 CFR 172.620, 172.626 and 182.7255), the European Economic Community (EEC) Directives
(E407), the Japan Food Additive Codex as well as the Food and Nutrition Paper of FAO (2001).
