Môc Before You Read ë ®Çu phÇn Reading lµ phÇn th«ng tin gîi më
kiÕn thøc nÒn cã liªn quan ®Õn chñ ®iÓm ®Ó chuÈn bÞ chuyÓn sang bµi
häc. PhÇn nµy cã thÓ lµ c¸c ho¹t ®éng ghÐp tranh/ h×nh víi th«ng tin, tr¶
lêi mét sè c©u hái liªn quan ®Õn kinh nghiÖm vµ kiÕn thøc cña häc sinh g¾n
víi chñ ®iÓm, v.v.

+ Listening gåm c¸c bµi tËp luyÖn nghe hiÓu (listening comprehension)
cã néi dung thÓ hiÖn chñ ®iÓm bµi häc. PhÇn nµy yªu cÇu häc sinh nghe
mét ®o¹n héi tho¹i (dialogue) hay mét v¨n b¶n hoµn chØnh hoÆc chða hoµn
chØnh, sau ®ã ®Ó häc sinh tù kiÓm tra møc ®é hiÓu qua nhiÒu h×nh thøc nhð:
