EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Internship is the position provided to a student who works in an organization as a part of their requirements
and qualification during the course of study. An opportunity was given to me to work as a Finance Intern in
Ndimensionz Equisite Imaginations. NDZ is a fast-growing and global leader aspirant in technology and
digital, services as well as consulting. They enable clients across the globe to navigate their digital
transformation. During the tenure with the company, I was able to go through areas like Tax Deducted at
Source Rate Bill, Softex Table, making Request Letter for the Export Bill Realisation, making Minutes
for a board meeting conducted and preparing a customer and vendor registration form model for the company.

 DESCRIPTION & NATURE OF THE JOB PERFORMED BY YOU
IN THE ORGANIZATION:

Internship was a great experience for me to know how the professional world works. The Finance Manager
and Finance Executive was guiding me to do the work. First day they asked to make a PPT presentation on
latest changes in the income tax act and then asked me to make a TDS Rate Bill and its Writeup then
Softex Table, Request for Export Realisation Letter, Minutes and Registration form of both Customers and
Vendors.
Through this I could learn how a Finance Department works in a service providing company and what all are
financial activities doing in a company.

Focus Area:
1. TDS Rate Bill & Write-up

TDS Rate Bill is a thing which is formed to know to what service we have received, to which account we
have to pay the amount and the amount paying date and the TDS Rate for that service and what will be the
amount we have to be deducted from the amount which we should pay according to the rate.

2. Softex Table

Softex Table is formed to show to bank what service we have provided for the amount we have received
from other companies to avoid unnecessary actions from the RBI. As the company is in Smart City
which is under CSEZ there should be approval from the them which is a Softex Number and an
FIRC Number from the bank.
The softx Table contains the Invoice Date, Client Name, Client Address, Invoice Number, Softex Month,
Softex Number, Date of receipt ,FIRC Date and FIRC Number.

3. Request Letter for Export Bill Realisation

It is a request letter which is given to the bank manually for the Export Bill Realisation. For each invoice
number each bill is formed. The letter contains the address of the bank, amount received and its
currency type, FIRC Number, Invoice Number, Softex Number and the Account Number for the
Debt Charges.
4. Minutes

Minutes is a summary of the Board Meeting conducted by the Board Member’s. It contains the time and
date of commencement, the name of members presented in the meeting, the name of the chairman
appointed for the meeting, quorum ,Memorandum and Article of Association, Agenda of the meeting
Conducted , Decisions taken in the meeting and finally the time on date of making minutes.

5. Customer and Vendor Registration Form

The comapny was asked to make a model of customer and vendor registration form which the company
needs to make in future that contains all the basic details like service needed, type of industry,
Name of the Company, MSME Number etc…
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

As an intern following where my responsibilities:

 Assist the Finance Manager and the executives for doing the work
 Re Checking whether there is any correction for the documents they have prepared.
 Making a model of the registration forms that company needed to implement in the future.
 Making Power points for the presentation for various topics.
UNIQUE ASPECTS OF THE JOB

Following where the unique aspects of the job in the company:

 As an intern, it was a unique experience of learning compared to the traditional system.

 The impact of things happening around the world has an impact on the market, so the price of the
services where changing. So it was able to understand the how much changes will be there for each
services.
 As most of the companies needed service was from outside India, so it was able to understand the
changes in the value of the international currency.
FINDINGS

 The company has a close and good relationship with their customers.
 Live updates where given to their customers.
 Most of the customers where from outside the country.
 Timely meeting where conducted upon employees to get them updated for the various things happening
inside and outside the company.
 Employee satisfaction and training is one of the key element in the company. Employees where given
training when new things comes in the company. Customer satisfaction is given by providing leaves
needed, 2days work from home a week, celebrating special days like birthday and giving bonus to
employees who work more.
CONCLUSION

The internship was a good experience for me. It can strongly say that the understanding about the job
environment has been increased more. Also I realised that the works given to me where completed earlier
than they expect.
The main things that i have larned after my experience in the company was time should be managed
according to the work and we should be self- motivated to do the works given to us.
It was a good opportunity to find that finance department is the right choice for my carrer.
CRITICAL OBSERVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The following are the observations and the recommendations:

 The company has an office in Smart City and two offices in Info park area.
 Most of the customers are from foreign country.
 The company is taking classes to college students about the importance of Linkedin,
digital marketing etc..
 The company has to receive a lot of money from different companies for the services they
have done.
 LEARNING OUTCOME

 To know about the Accounts and Taxation activities of a company.

 To know how time should me managed to complete the work in the given time.
 To know how a person should be self-motivated to do a work even though he dosen’t have
experience in that area he is working.
