Part III

For many it is difficult to face cultural changes or other cultures different from yours,
with which you grew up and were raised. It is a mixture of feelings of confusion and
nervousness that a person may have after leaving a familiar culture to live in a new and
different one. We may feel sad, anxious, frustrated, and want to go home. These
changes have affected in many ways, but the main ones I think are, the language, jokes,
food, music. The adaptation is done at our own pace. All people go through changes in
their life, and it may seem that you go through more than the average person. However,
as long as you hold on to what is important to you and find a good mix between the new
and the old, you will be fine.

medicine.

In some countries these cultural

changes are changing the way of
people life in some countries,
since they are adapting foreign
traditions, which is a very
important aspect in the different
cultures.

Some countries want to resist

sudden cultural changes, although
there are others who see this as a
great opportunity for interaction, as
in the case of Canada, where a
policy of multiculturalism was
implemented.
