A small premium with big benefits in the event of loss or damage
It is a concern to note that an increasingly high percentage of freight moving into and out of the Middle Eastern countries does so without
the goods being covered against loss or damage.

At TNT, our business is to ensure that your shipment, whether a pallet, parcel or document, arrives on time and in perfect condition. We
take this responsibility seriously. Even though we always take the utmost care with your shipment, it is prudent to protect your valuable
goods against any potential loss or damage in transit. That’s why TNT Enhanced Liability covers the full value of your shipment so you have
added peace of mind.

With effect from January 1st 2013 TNT SAB Express will automatically offer enhanced carrier liability on all express and economy express
non-document consignments up to a maximum value of 25,000 Euro or the declared invoice value of your goods, whichever is the lower. For
this enhanced liability cover a fee of 1% of declared invoice value of goods or 20 SAR per consignment (whichever is the greater) will apply.
It is important to note that we are not able (and will not charge) to provide enhanced liability cover at this time to the following countries:
• Afghanistan • Democratic Republic of Congo • Iran • Iraq
• Ivory Coast • Liberia • Myanmar • Nigeria
• North Korea • Pakistan • Somalia

Exclusions
The cover is subject to the exclusions as specified in our general terms and conditions, available at
http://www.tnt.com/express/en_sa/site/terms_and_conditions.html.html. For example (but not by way of limitation):
• Loss/damage attributable to the willful misconduct of the Assured
• Ordinary leakage, loss in weight or volume, or ordinary wear and tear
• Loss/damage caused by insufficiency or unsuitability of packing or preparation of the subject matter insured
• Loss/damage caused by delay
• Loss/damage arising from the use of any weapon employing atomic or nuclear fission and/or fusion or other like reaction or
radioactive force or matter
• War risks on land

High risk goods that are always subject to prior approval such as:
• Hazardous goods • Bulk goods
• Livestock, Bloodstock and living Creatures • Precious metals, stones or jewellery, watches
• Antiques and objects of art • Documents, money or valuable paper
• Breakables such as glass, bottles etc • Architectural models and prototypes
• Tobacco, cigarettes and spirits • Goods subject to customs excise
• Fire arms and other weapons and ammunition • Motor Vehicles
• Charity goods or humanitarian aid • Fur and Fur garments
• Perishable goods carried in a cargo space controlled by
mechanical equipment
Note that where a consignment has a value in excess of 25,000 Euro TNT SAB Express will cover (and make the necessary charge) the
first 25,000 Euro value of goods only. If you would like to arrange cover for a consignment where the value is in excess of 25,000 Euro,
please contact your local TNT call centre to gain your quotation and approval before shipping.
