Idea brief
I. Idea brief:
1. Name: The haunted school.
2. Theme: Scream in the dark:
‘The scream’ presents for terrifying fear. ‘The dark’ embodies for the death. Therefore, ‘The
scream in the dark” show the purpose of the event is to create a creepy and thrilling moment
for audience when taking part in the event’s activities especially the haunted school games.
3. Time: 31/10/2020.
4. Duration: 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
5. Scale: 200 students.
6. Target audience: Freshmen of Foreign Trade University in HCM city
- Favorite:
+ Discovery.
+ Solving challenging problems.
+ Watching creepy films and stories.
+ Making friends.
+ Hanging out with friends.
- Financial situations:
+ Spending of student living with their family: more than 600.000 VND.
+ Spending of student living alone (except renting house cost): 2.000.000 VND.

+ A place to hang out on Halloween day.
+ Experience interesting Halloween activities.
+ Attend thrilling and creepy games.
7. Core value: Participants have a chance to experience interesting activities in Halloween
Day, specially, challenge in the haunted school game.
8. Format: A Halloween festival contain 4 games: Tarot, trick-or-treat, cosplay and the main
activity is discovering the haunted school.

9. Brief content:
9.1. From 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm: Check in, after 5:20 pm, close door.
9.2. From 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm: The opening ceremony: Declare the reasons of the Event,
sponsors’ information and instruct activities.
9.3 From 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm:
- Main activities: The haunted school.
+ Total participants: 200 people.
+ Divided into: 28 teams.
+ Members of each team: 7-8 members.
+ Number of turns: 7, Each turn: 4 teams.
+ Main rules:
If any members of any teams want to give up, that team will lose immediately.
After each turn, a team win. After end time, award prizes for 7 win teams.
+ Script:
Introduction: 30 years ago, There is a schoolgirl disappeared strangely. No one could find
her. Nobody has known what happened to her. Her piteous soul hasn’t disappeared yet. Every 10
years, she wakes up and finds someone to help her figure out who is the murder and where her
corpse was hidden. The murder has lived happily after her death. Let’s find out the truth to help
the salvation of her soul and the murder will be punished. This Halloween Day, You - the
adventurers have a mission to discover the answer and you cannot give up when you start.
Otherwise, you will be stuck with her vow and tortured until you die. Once you pass all the round
and find out the answer, she will be very grateful to you and her soul will disappear.
The soul of the girl will follow wherever you go and give out suggestions. You will have
to pass 3 rounds to find out the answer.
The truth after finishing all the rounds: She was killed by her best friend who is jealous
of her beauty. One day, her best friend pushed her from the third floor of the school and buried
her body in the back of the school.

Halloween event for college students coming from FTU. This event aims to share the tradition and to
give the students opportunities to make friends and improve their English skills.

university with the participation of about 200 freshmen come from Foreign Trade University.
