Prayer Service of Thanksgiving

I. Introduction:
Good morning sisters and brothers, In behalf of the Guimbatan family let us
welcome each other to their family prayer, a celebration of thanksgiving for
the gift of good life of our sister Violy.
Let us remember that God’s greatest gift to Violy and to all of us is LIFE. In
return our lives like the life of our sister when well lived is our gift back to God.
Let us therefore acknowledge the presence of God, the giver of our lives. His
presence in our midst during this prayerful celebration as we offer our praise
and gratitude for the life of our sister Violy. With these intentions, let us begin
the celebration in the name of the Father……..
II. Opening Song:
I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart,

III. Opening Prayer:
Most loving heavenly Father, today we again praise and thank you for
gathering us, as one family of love. We joyfully join our sister and her family to
thank you for the long productive life you have given her. Now that she is 75
yrs. Old, we pray that you our God, will grant her total deliverance and
complete physical, emotional and spiritual healing that comes from the
percoid blood of Jesus your son and our redeemer. This is our prayer to you
our heavenly Father, in the mighty name of your Son, Jesus.
IV. Penitential Prayer:
To be worthy of Gods blessing, let us call to mind our sins as we sing.
Purify your people God
Cleanse us with your fire o, Lord
May we walk uprightly,
In the presence of the Lord
Purify your people oh, God
Make us holy Lord we pray
In your likeness, righteousness in our way
Let us be a praise, to the glory of His name
