Our black band

Wherever the Gallagher logo appears alongside any other communication content it will be the orange logo on a black band. This acts as a
sign off to the main body of content, an endorsement & recognition of the parent brand (eg: powerpoint, email signatures, web, brochures,
adverts, covering letters, business cards). The logo is always justified to the right or left and will only be supported by the web URL and / or
contact number.

There may be situations where an additional logo is required in the centre of the black band to support the document (e.g. 80th logo,
reseller logo). This however is the exception, not the rule.
Black Band Construction Example

The height of the black band is proportional to the logo it houses and is generally 50% of the band
height. Refer to the marketing department for any exceptions to this rule.

Left/Right Justification

The Gallagher logo and corresponding URL / phone number always sit at opposite ends of the
black band and on an A4 document is 11pt medium Galaxie Polaris (use this to judge the size
in other applications) . Always justify the logo to the right within document margins or with
the minimum logo clear spacing. Within the black band, the URL and logo should always be in
orange.

The logo is only ever to the left of the black band if the band is aligned to the top of a page
or document. Note: This alignment is only in situations where the ‘stand-alone logo’ or ‘black
band lock ups’ aren’t viable due to production or legibility restrictions. In these situations the
URL / phone number needs to be placed in the main body of the document
