• Aims/Benefits of micro-project:

1. Aim The aim of this course is to help the student to attain

the following industry identified competency through various
teaching learning experiences.

2. Produce components using conventional manufacturing

processes.

3. TO achieve the knowledge of lathe machine and to operate

the machine with safety instructions.

• Course Outcome
1. Identify different machining operations to be performed for
the given job with justification.
2.Explain with sketches the procedure of performing the given
lathe machine operation on a job. .
3.Produce the Job using Lathe Machine and drill Machine.

• Proposed methodology:
 1. First
we will decide group and select topic.
2. We will collect the information of Power saving of
LATHE MACHINE in detail.
3. We will also study about their applications.
4. We will take the guidance of our subject incharge.
5. We prepare a report of our micro-project.
